I am assuming this photo is circe 1904 (there are electric lines) …to somewhere prior to 1913/1920 because I do not see the large building at the end of the street on the right ….that would house what is now Serendipity Roasting Company.
it seems this is the Missouri Pacific Train Depot and Livery or Bus Line… zoom in and you can see signs for Telegraphs and perhaps a small dog jumping up toward the man in front of the coach… its a dark blur, likely from the long exposure of photographs… But whatever was there it looks to have grabbed the attention of the horse.
